Hello everyone. It is indeed a new year. We hope it's a good year for the APM. Progress at the moment hasn't been entirely satisfactory, but there has been some. The holiday can generally either be a boon for development, or a giant hamper. Unfortunately for the APM, it was the latter this holiday. Nonetheless, we're looking to start-off the new year right. With some computer issues behind us, we hope to be able to get development of the mod, as well as of this site, to the level where it belongs.
Some of you may notice some slight edits to the storyline as well as to the features page. References to India having issues with population have been removed entirely from the storyline. Some of you may know that the population had initial been India's major motivator. However, with each revision to the storyline, the role of population in terms of India's motivation to assault Pakistan has decreased. Finally, it has been eradicated entirely. Recent events have allowed the terrorism aspect of the plot to play a larger role. India has already scolded Pakistan for its failure to rein in extremism, and we have built upon these recent events to produce a storyline that essentially details the evolution of deteriorating relations between India and Pakistan.
We also edited the portion of the features page which relates to the storyline. We initially described it as fighteningly realistic, in which it more or less is. It's one of the few possibilities left for true global war. However, there have been some complaints about the usage of that phrase, and admittedly they are somewhat valid. We have been forced to, at points, take some leaps and make some stretches. It's nigh impossible to get a truly feasible storyline involving the major superpowers of the world in open war. Battlefield 2 didn't even try, and Generals didn't do much better. Act of War had an intriguing storyline, but a rather far-fetched one. We have done what we could to lay the basis for a feasible storyline. We will be modifying the storyline as-needed up until the point where we absolutely must finalize it, so that we may keep it as in-tune as possible with current events.
Nonetheless, expect to hear a lot more from us in the new year.

Hello, and welcome to the official site of the Air Power Mod.
Currently, the mod will be for Supreme Commander and Act of War: High Treason. There are no plans for a Company of Heroes version, due to the disparity between CoH and its engine and what the APM requires. CoH is too tactically based to properly portray aerial warfare in the manner we wish, which is largely strategical. However, we may also expand the mod into Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. If there is enough interest in the APM for C&C 3, we will do our best to make it happen.
Finally, our forum is already up, and we've got some info posted there as well, so whether you want to find out more, or discuss what you know, you'll find our forums satisfactory.
